EA Sports FC 24: The New Era of Virtual Football

Hey guys, this is Nate, aka The Foot Accountant. Welcome back to EA FC 24 Coins the channel! It's August, and what I'm about to say might shock some of you: it's almost the best time to focus on footies, especially with what's coming this Friday. We're going to dive into packs, footies Team 4, and the upcoming rerelease number three. But before that, let's discuss Team of the Season cards and the potential investment opportunities they present.

Footies SBCs and Investment Insights

The biggest question on everyone's mind is whether Team of the Season (TOTS) cards will experience another spike in value, from 30k to 5060k. Looking back at last year, the next few days might drastically change the TOTS market. It's crucial to get your footies teams ready for the new weekend league objective coming soon.

Yesterday’s Content Review

Yesterday, we had some exciting developments. One of the standout player SBCs was Peter Crouch. Initially, I wasn't thrilled because I already have a highrated version of Crouch with 99 shooting. However, the play style pluses on this new card make it exceptional. Standing at 6'7", Crouch has aerial plus and acrobatic plus for impressive crosses and volleys, along with a finesse shot capability—an unprecedented feature for a Crouch card.

At the price of an 87rated squad and no TOTS requirements, costing around 42,000 coins, this card is a steal. It’s a fun and affordable SBC, offering a unique twist with the finesse shot. Even though I might not complete this SBC myself, it's undoubtedly a great option for many players.

Another pack released was the expected Wednesday guaranteed pack, related to Team of the Tournament and footies cards. This pack, like the 94+ that came out on Tuesday, offers a chance to snag some highvalue cards at a low price, requiring just an 85 and an 86rated squad. These packs provide excellent value, especially given their low cost.

Investment Strategy for TOTS Cards

With the refreshed icon SBCs and the anticipated rerelease of footies batch three this Friday, the TOTS cards' prices might fluctuate significantly. Historically, TOTS cards tend to rise during footies but can also drop sharply. Last year, TOTS cards plummeted in value after the footies batch three rerelease, with some cards dropping from 50k to as low as 13k.

This year, TOTS cards haven't dropped as much as anticipated. Currently, they're hovering around 3638k. However, with the upcoming rerelease and the potential influx of TOTS cards in packs, there’s a risk that their prices might tank again.

The Risks and Rewards

Given the patterns from last year, I’m cautious about investing heavily in TOTS cards this week. Although there's a chance they might rise to 4550k, the risk of them dropping to 20k or lower is significant. EA's habit of making TOTS cards super packable could flood the market, driving prices down.

If you have coins and want to complete SBCs, it’s not a bad idea to stock a few TOTS cards. However, for a heavy investment aiming for substantial profit, I’m staying away this week. The potential for a significant drop outweighs the possibility of a minor rise.

Preparing for Footies Team 4

As we gear up for the rerelease this Friday, it’s crucial to get your footies teams ready. Whether it’s for the new weekend league objectives or potential SBC requirements, having a solid footies team will be beneficial. We might see a requirement for footies players, similar to past challenges requiring TOTS or festival football players.

Content Expectations for Today

Today marks the last day of footies team three and batch two of the rerelease. We’re expecting one more player SBC, likely Cordoba. The key question is how EA will rate this card. Will it be a modest plus one or a significant upgrade? Only time will tell.

Additionally, keep an eye out for new footies weekend league objectives. If you haven't started the silver cup yet, now is the time. A new objective could require a full footies team, so start building and completing SBCs if needed.

XP and Daily Logins

Today is also significant for XP. Weekly objectives will refresh, and we might see some bonuses in the weekend league objectives for XP. A new daily login objective should also drop today, potentially offering valuable rewards like player packs.

Looking Forward to Footies Team 4

We’re eagerly anticipating the content drop this Friday. With 99rated cards like Ronaldo and Messi already released, who will be the next to get a 99 rating? We’ve seen trends of increasing 99rated players with each team, so team four could feature even more.

Career Mode and Other Leaks

In addition to footies, there's some buzz around career mode and other game modes. One interesting leak is the first confirmed hero for EA Sports FC 24: Mohamed Noor. While career mode isn't my focus, it's exciting to see new developments in various aspects of the game.

Conclusion

As we approach the next big content drop, it’s essential to stay informed and prepared. Whether you’re investing in TOTS cards, completing SBCs, or getting your footies team ready, understanding the market trends and upcoming releases will give you an edge.

Remember, the key to enjoying EA Sports FC 24 is to have fun. Whether that means saving packs for a big opening or grinding through objectives, do what brings you the most joy.
